Visit Maui’s most sacred sites and discover the power of incorporating heated stones into your practice. Learn to use these stones  to relax body tissues, soothe muscle tension, increase circulation, relieve pain allowing you to address acute injury and melt into the source area.

In ancient times, Lomi Lomi practitioners learned how to work on the physical body together with the  spirit of a plant or a stone, requesting assistance with their healing practice.

Stone Gathering at Wailua Nui: Journey to a historic agricultural valley and learn to gather stones ceremonially with a gathering chant. Use the chant to and gathering protocol to collect stones close to your home 'Aina (land) to envoke support from the earth where you live.

These healing stones can be called in and be used as potent medicine.  Learn what sizes and shapes to look for when working with different parts of the body.  Give back to the community by working in the taro patch and enjoying a potluck lunch together.

Hawaiian Pregnancy Massage & Seated Lomi Lomi Techniques:

Explore  a comprehensive approach to Pregnancy massage, side lying and seated techniques. Students will  learn to work with specific populations including prenatal, postnatal and pregnancy massage techniques in a side lying position. Hold space for women who wish to conceive, pregnant women, and post natal care focusing on bringing the bones back together. Seated Lomi techniques will give you a way to work on anyone anywhere anytime as long as you have a chair. Techniques are a reflection of what is learned in our foundational teachings translated into a seated position.

Four-Hand Lomi Lomi: Tandem Flow:

A special technique that is a more recent healing expression of lomi lomi. This unique experience involves two massage therapists simultaneously using traditional long flowing lomi strokes, facilitating a sense of complete surrender within. This class also covers the elements of coordination, breath, synchronicity, and  teamwork and is used as a vehicle for transformation.  It takes you beyond the mind. Please note that a single therapist can also use all the strokes introduced.
